From a Simple Menu to a More Seamless Ordering Experience

Café Noon is an online food and café ordering platform. The goal of the redesign was to create a simpler, more engaging, and more intuitive experience for users — from discovering products and exploring the menu to selecting an item and starting the ordering process.

One of the key challenges was finding the right balance between the brand’s warm and inviting personality and a fast, frictionless digital experience.

01 — Finding the right product shouldn’t take effort

Users typically enter a food-ordering platform with a specific intention and expect to find what they want quickly.

Solution:
I restructured the page layouts and product categories to make the content easier to scan, allowing users to discover and explore products with fewer interactions.

02 — The right information needs to be available at the point of decision

When ordering online, users cannot physically see or experience the product. Images, descriptions, pricing, and product details therefore play an important role in their decision-making.

Solution:
I prioritized key product information within the visual hierarchy and created a clearer structure for product imagery, names, descriptions, and pricing, making products easier to understand and compare.

03 — Creating an experience that reflects Café Noon’s identity

The goal was not simply to create a functional interface, but to make the digital experience feel like an extension of the brand itself.

Solution:
I developed a warm and appetizing visual language using the brand’s colors, typography, imagery, and graphic elements, creating a stronger connection between the digital experience and Café Noon’s physical identity.

04 — Reducing friction throughout the ordering journey

Every unnecessary step or unclear interaction can create friction and potentially interrupt the ordering process.

Solution:
I simplified the journey from browsing the menu to selecting a product and entering the ordering flow, while making primary CTAs and key interaction points more visible and intuitive.

05 — Designing a system that can scale

With a growing number of products and categories, the interface needed to remain consistent and flexible as new content was introduced.

Solution:
I created reusable components and structured patterns for product cards, buttons, categories, and other UI elements, providing a more consistent foundation for future product expansion.
