Biliting is an online ticket-booking platform that makes it easy for users to discover and reserve swimming pools across cities in Iran. With a focus on convenience, attractive discounts, and a simple booking experience, users can find their preferred pool and reserve a ticket in just a few clicks.
For this project, I designed a modern, engaging, and responsive web experience with the goal of turning what can often be a complicated booking process into something fast, intuitive, and enjoyable.
From User Needs to a Complete Product Experience
I approached Biliting as a complete UX/UI project rather than focusing only on the visual design. The process started by understanding users, their expectations, and the challenges they face when searching for and booking recreational activities online.
01 — User Interviews
I started with interviews to understand users' behaviors, expectations, frustrations, and decision-making process when choosing and booking a swimming pool.
The insights helped define the key problems the product needed to solve and shaped the direction of the overall experience.
02 — User Persona
Based on the research findings, I created user personas to represent the primary target users and keep their needs and motivations at the center of the design process.
03 — User Flow
I mapped the main booking journey to make the path from discovering a pool → exploring details → selecting a ticket → completing the booking as short and intuitive as possible.
The goal was simple: less friction, fewer unnecessary steps, and a faster path to booking.
04 — Wireframing
Before moving into visual design, I created wireframes to define the structure, content hierarchy, and interaction patterns of the key pages.
This allowed me to validate the overall experience and information architecture before investing in the final UI.
05 — Benchmarking
I conducted a competitive benchmark to explore existing ticket-booking and recreational platforms, identify common UX patterns, and discover opportunities to make Biliting's experience more distinctive and user-friendly.
06 — UI Design
With the UX foundation established, I translated the structure into a modern and visually engaging interface.
The visual direction was designed to communicate energy, leisure, and trust while keeping the booking experience clear and focused. Strong visual hierarchy, carefully structured cards, intuitive navigation, and a consistent design language helped create a product that feels both modern and easy to use.
07 — Responsive Design
I designed the experience responsively across desktop and mobile, ensuring that the core booking journey remains intuitive and accessible regardless of screen size.
Special attention was given to content hierarchy, touch-friendly interactions, spacing, and adapting complex booking information to smaller screens.
08 — Prototyping
Finally, I created an interactive prototype to demonstrate the key user flows and interactions, bringing the experience closer to the final product and making it easier to communicate and validate the design.
The Result
The final Biliting experience combines a research-driven UX process with a modern visual design system, creating a booking journey that feels simple from the first interaction to the final reservation.
